Mesmerized

March 17, 2020

Where the blue meets the blue, and the white comes and goes

The blue is endless,
until it touches the other blue.
The white fluffs come and go,
Sliding across the blue.
The other white fluffs come and go also,
sliding through the other blue.

I'm mesmerized.
I stare, my mind is finally quiet.
I can think of something I haven't thought of in a long time.
The breeze brushes my skin,
and the warmth of the yellow warms me within.
I'm hypnotized.
I pause.

International Women's Day

March 8, 2020

My late wife Cheryl with her systers Debbie and Patti and their mother Gloria and Debbies daughter Nicole, in 2003

Today is International Women's Day, and I hope you have an excellent day and evening.

Some of my favorite people are women, what would this world be without women? :)

I honestly do hope your day has been great, relaxing, fun; with family or without; alone or with many others I hope you have been appreciated by those around you, if not, know this - I appreciate you, I appreciate your friendship and your thoughts. You mean a lot to this world we live in, more than you can imagine. My thoughts, prayers, friendship goes out to you on this day set aside especially for women, all women of all colors, all nationalities, all religions. If I could give you a hug right now I would hold you in my arms, let you rest your head on my shoulders, and you could feel content, wanted, desired, and needed.

To all women I want to say this: Thank you for your support and love, your care and understanding, your compassion and heart. Thank you, I appreciate you all.

The state of affairs in US politics, as I see it

February 12, 2020

An old farm in central Washington.

As I sit here this morning listening to the news, the talking heads are saying that for a campaign runner to win California they will have to through a ton of money at that state. I'm left wondering why has the presidential campaign turned into a money show? The more money a person has to through around the more likely they are to win the nomination. That isn't right. The person who wins the nomination should be the one most qualified to be the president, not the one who has the best money-machine.

Millionaires and billionaires are the last people qualified to be President. So why do people vote for them? I don't understand, it boggles my mind why someone would vote for an unqualified bazillionaire to be the President of the USA. To those who do vote for such people - don't you think about anything other than the words they are spewing? Since when have you been such a huge supporter of such people? Especially if you are not among their circle of personal friends. In what way do those people relate to you and your station in life?
